For many taking up concealed carry the first thing I suggest is considering the worst-case scenario. To define what a worst-case scenario would look like, start with being surprised. And, if that wasn't challenging enough, start from positional disadvantages such as from on the ground or with a simulated injury to further complicate the situation, adding more realism. What are the advantages to considering the worst case?
